Location[]
The Capital of Cadia, located in the Northeast peninsula of Cadia, near Balan Bay. The mountain it resides by shares its name.
Noteable Trivia[]
- Abigh is built on ruins of the capital of the Republic of Shade. It is unknown how much of the old capital still remains, as the castle and town were built directly on top of the ruins.
- Due to kingdom wide troubles (towns being destroyed, crops being ruined, land un-farmable, all under mysterious circumstances) most citizens from across Cadia now call Abigh their home. As such, it's a bit overcrowded, but it also has the positive side effect of many different cultures of Cadia present and mingling together in the city.
- While newcomers are put off by the constant presence of the Maighstir Cu’s Preachan, most who live there have gotten used to them.
- There is a small group of citizens who align themselves with the resistance in Kerecha. They are often met with unfortunate fates when this is found out. Thus, no real actions are able to be taken by the group in Abigh.
Points of Interest[]
The Castle of the High King[]
The castle is home to the king, his advisors, and high-ranking senators. Most senators live in the city below. It is also home to the most advanced magical research, with the Priomh Draoidh at the head. This is, in part, due to the castle being the only place in Cadia where ancient technology is allowed to be studied, and then only with the approval of the King.
The Golden Stairs[]
Their use is unknown, but there is a long set of golden stairs leading to the top of the mountain Abigh rests on.
Vega’s Patisserie[]
Originally located in a southern city in Cadia, now destroyed. Ms Vega’s original restaurant was destroyed in a freak accident, which caused the entire city to burn. Ms Vega moved her family and her patisserie to Abigh and has found great success in the city. She is known for her croissants.
