Location[]

Central Cadia, in the Searrag Mountains (meaning long stride). Built on the side of one of the mountains.

Noteable Trivia[]

  • The city was created after the destruction of Arsanaig. The city was built by people fleeing from Arsanaig, none of which were experienced builders. This is reflected in the architecture and lack of development planning. The city itself is extremely unstable, being built on platforms propped up against the mountain. There have been a number of casualties caused by collapsing platforms during earthquakes.
  • Most of the families who made their home in Jeworwon were of upper class status and have since become farmers, mostly dealing in small batches of vegetables, sweet corn, and chickens.
  • Jeworwon implemented a bartering system, in place of using any type of currency.
  • Those who moved to Jeworwon held a more extremist viewpoint on magic than those in Arsanaig. Though one of Arsanaig's core principles is the complete control of magic, those who moved to Jeworwon believe it was because Arsanaig's laws on magic were not strict enough that it was destroyed. They believe magic needs to be eradicated if the world is to know peace. As such, they endeavor to completely cut themselves off from the outside world and be entirely self-sufficient.
  • They do have some dealings with nearby towns, bartering handmade items (leatherwork, jewelry, small accessories in classic elven styles) through merchants who come up the mountain and farms near the Lacao River to the North.

Points of Interest[]

The Doors of Solais, The Altar of Solais[]

Large doors in the front of the mountain Jeworwon was built on, and a small structure with a glass convex top at the peak of the mountain. It is likely there is some structure built into the mountain from the tech age. The people of Jeworwon tried unsuccessfully to settle on the mountains nearby, to avoid any accidental encounters with old tech, but the landscapes proved too difficult for them to traverse. It is unknown what exactly lies in the mountain, but the people of Jeworwon have spread rumors of a ‘demon’ or ‘devil’ living inside.

The Singing Stair[]

The ramp up to the city. Named ‘The Singing Stair’ due to the creaking when one travels on the ramp.
